Reddit Ads Manager isolation
Ads Manager isolation for authorized advertisers. Their page is a proxy list. Ours is a room. Bring your own exit if the desk already uses one.

I open Reddit Ads Manager in a local profile that holds that advertiser. Personal Reddit stays out. Mod tools stay out. Brand posting stays out if it is a different account. Competitor pages that sell "best proxies for Reddit ads" are a different article. This one is folder hygiene.
The useful caveat: bring your own HTTP or SOCKS5 if the desk already uses one. MaskWright does not bundle exits and does not broker traffic. A proxy list is not an ads account.
What belongs in the ads profile
Official Ads Manager. Billing for that advertiser. Pixel or conversion helpers that belong to that account.
Not: personal scrolling, mod queues, or a headed collector. Reddit sessions on a local profile. Reddit moderation accounts. Reddit API versus headed browsing.
Multiple accounts on one PC is the parent split. MaskWright 0.1: Windows 10/11, per-profile user-data-dir, no seats. profiles.json is encrypted. Chromium user data is not.
Limits are still policy
Facebook ads account limits are business facts. Reddit ads restrictions are the same class of problem. A new folder does not restore a disabled advertiser. Complete Reddit's process as the owner. I will not write restore steps.
Licensed tools on the same PC
If the desk also runs LinkedIn, those products have their own seats. LinkedIn company pages on one PC. LinkedIn Sales Navigator stays licensed. LinkedIn Recruiter workflows. Reddit Ads is not a place to park a Recruiter session.
How I set it
Empty cookies. Official sign-in. 2FA on a device I hold. Locale matches the market I actually buy in, or follows a real proxy exit on launch. Unpacked extensions only if they belong to this advertiser.
Invite coworkers through Reddit's official ads access, not through a cookie export.
| Ads profile | Other folders |
|---|---|
| Ads Manager, billing | Personal Reddit |
| Conversion helpers for this advertiser | Mod account |
| Optional proxy this advertiser already pays for | Headed public research |
On a real Windows desk
I bookmark Ads Manager inside this profile only. I do not copy that bookmark into everyday Chrome. Billing PDFs leave the download tray the same day. If the network wants a pixel helper, it installs unpacked here, not in brand Reddit and not in the mod profile.
Geo check first when a proxy is attached. Sticky for the advertiser. I do not rotate under a live ads login. MaskWright's connectivity check is TCP connect, not a full auth handshake, so I still watch the first page load before I trust the exit.
If LinkedIn Recruiter is on the same tower, it is a different profile with a different name. Wide monitors invite mixed tabs. Folders do not.
When a campaign is rejected, I read Reddit's reason in this profile as the owner. I do not spawn ads-new-fp to "retry as someone else."
FAQ
Do I need a residential proxy to buy ads?
Only if your finance and security setup already requires one. I do not treat a proxy as a requirement to "look healthy." Match the exit to the entity, or use the office IP you are allowed to use.
Can two advertisers share one profile?
If Reddit already expects one login to see both, match that. If they are separate businesses, two folders. Pixels do not travel.
Is MaskWright an ads robot?
No. No Playwright product, no window sync. Bulk start opens profiles you already run. A person still builds the campaign.
Should I test the ads profile on a fingerprint lab?
I skip trophy labs. Consistency inside the profile matters. Sign in, work, close it.
Should I keep brand Reddit's pixel helper in Ads Manager?
If it fires for the advertiser, yes in ads. If it is a brand posting helper, no. Pixels follow the job that owns them.
Keep Ads Manager in one local folder. Keep mod, brand, and personal out. Invite people. Bring your own exit only if you already have one.
I skip restore-by-fingerprint, rotating exits under billing, and unofficial exporters. I geo-check sticky lines. I move invoices out of the tray. I close ads before I open modmail. Limits stay policy.
