Etsy shop isolation
Keep each Etsy shop you own in its own local profile. Shop Manager isolation, official members, no cookie dumps.

I open Etsy Shop Manager in a local profile that holds that shop. Personal Etsy shopping stays out. I skip the "manage without bans" genre. This page is isolation for shops you own or were invited to run.
The useful caveat: Etsy has its own rules about multiple shops. Read them. Marketplace one-identity rules. A new folder is not a new shop Etsy forbade.
What the shop profile holds
Official Shop Manager. Conversations for that shop. Shipping tools for that shop. Pattern files that belong to that shop, stored in ops, not mixed with another shop's listings.
Ecommerce accounts on one PC is the pillar. Clone a store stencil, not a session if you have a second authorized shop. Customer data never belongs in research.
Siblings: eBay seller isolation, Shopify multi-store isolation, Airbnb listing isolation. Affiliate dashboards are another job. Affiliate dashboard isolation.
MaskWright 0.1: Windows 10/11, per-profile user-data-dir. profiles.json is encrypted. Chromium user data is not. Bring your own HTTP or SOCKS5 if that shop already uses an exit. No seats. Invite shop members the official way.
| Shop profile | Keep out |
|---|---|
| Shop Manager for shop you own | Personal Etsy cart |
| That shop's shipping addon | Another shop's conversations |
| Optional shop proxy | Customer CSVs in a research tab |
Access
Etsy shop members, not cookie dumps. 2FA on a device they hold. Do not mail the profile folder.
How I run Shop Manager on Windows
The profile is acme-etsy. I launch Chromium for that uuid only. I sign in through Etsy's official page. I confirm I am in Shop Manager for the shop I named, not a second shop I also own sitting in the switcher. If Etsy already allows two shops on one login, I still prefer two folders when conversations and pattern files must not mix. If Etsy forbids a second shop, I do not open a second profile as a costume.
I install only the shipping or listing helper that shop uses, unpacked into this tree. I do not copy the helper from another shop's live folder. That copies configured API keys and last week's labels.
Customer messages are customer data. Exports go to ops, not into a cold research profile where I look at public listings. Pattern research is public looking in an empty folder. Shop Manager never holds that history if I can help it.
Geo check if this shop already uses HTTP or SOCKS5. Sticky. Household IP is normal for a shop I am allowed to run from that house. 2FA on a device I hold. Shop members get Etsy's member invite, then their own empty MaskWright profile on their PC. I do not email maskwright-data.
Close Shop Manager when the listing pass is done. Do not leave a refund conversation open on a shared tower. SmartScreen on an unsigned installer is not a reason to move the shop into a rented browser.
If a shop is suspended, I read Etsy's email as the owner. I do not spawn etsy-fresh with a new fingerprint. Isolation does not reopen a shop.
FAQ
Two shops Etsy already allows?
Two folders if they must not share conversations and downloads. Follow Etsy's current multiple-shop policy.
Will isolation fix a suspended shop?
No. Complete Etsy's process as the owner. I will not write restore steps.
Pattern research in the shop profile?
I do public looking in a cold profile. Shop Manager stays empty of that history.
Cloud Shop Manager?
The vendor holds the shop. I keep it local. Compare local versus cloud.
Can I keep personal Etsy favorites in Shop Manager?
Keep favorites in a personal profile. Shop Manager holds conversations and listings for the shop you run. Mix them and a customer thread sits next to a hobby cart.
Run the shop you own. Keep personal shopping and research out. Invite members. Do not treat a profile as a ban workaround.
I skip "without bans" chapters, cloning a live shop folder, and mailing members a cookie file. I install that shop's helpers only. I move exports to ops. I complete Etsy's process as the owner if a shop is limited.
