Affiliate research rooms
Research rooms for creatives. No cloaking. Look at public landing pages in a cold room that has never held a network login or a pixel you fire.

I look at public offer pages and disclosures in a profile that has never held a network login or a pixel I fire. No cloaking. No self-click. Notes go in a document I own.
The useful caveat: this is the look desk for programs you already joined or pages a visitor can already see. Ecommerce accounts on one PC is the pillar. Affiliate self-clicks are fraud.
Cold means empty
Empty cookies. No dashboard. No PayPal. PayPal business versus personal rooms. No store admin. Shopify multi-store isolation. No Amazon seller. Antidetect browsers for Amazon is not a research bot. No Airbnb host login. Airbnb listing isolation.
Dashboards stay in affiliate dashboard isolation. Cloaking kits stay out. Affiliate extensions we refuse.
MaskWright 0.1: Windows 10/11, empty user-data-dir. No Playwright product. Cookie import is plaintext. I import nothing. Optional HTTP or SOCKS5 if the desk already uses a looking exit. Do not attach the dashboard's sticky exit.
| Research profile | Never |
|---|---|
| Public landing pages, disclosures | Your tracking links |
| Notes and screenshots in ops | Network dashboard cookies |
| Optional looking-proxy | Pixels you fire as publisher |
How I look
Open the public URL without my affiliate ID when I can. If the only URL I have is tagged, I still do not complete a conversion I keep. I do not run a scraper in this profile.
When cold gets burned (you signed into the network "just to copy a creative ID"), I start a new empty profile.
How I look at offers on Windows
The cold profile is acme-aff-look. Empty cookies. No dashboard password in the manager if I can keep it out. No publisher pixel. Optional looking-proxy that is not the dashboard sticky line.
I open the advertiser's public site or a disclosure page. I write notes in a doc. I screenshot into ops. I do not append my affiliate ID "just to confirm tracking." Confirming tracking is how people self-click.
If the only URL I have is tagged, I still do not check out. I do not add to cart as a fake buyer. I ask the network for a preview.
When I signed into the dashboard from this folder by mistake, I burn it. New uuid. Empty. The old folder is not cold anymore even if I click logout.
Cloaking kits stay off the unpacked list. MaskWright will load whatever I put in extensions/. I put nothing that rewrites landing pages.
Store admin and Amazon seller stay other profiles. This folder does not ship labels and does not open Seller Central.
FAQ
Can I screenshot competitors' funnels?
Public pages, yes, into ops storage. Do not install their pixel in your dashboard profile by accident. Do not scrape behind a login you do not have.
Is this the same as a scraping browser?
No. Headed looking at public HTML. MaskWright is not a scraping product.
Cloaking "for split tests"?
No. If the network forbids cloaking, a local profile is not a costume.
Cloud research?
The vendor sees the looking. I keep even research local when I can. Compare local versus cloud.
Can I log into the network from the cold profile to copy a creative ID?
That burns cold. Copy the ID from the dashboard profile, paste it into a doc, look at the public page without your click ID.
Look at what visitors already see. Keep that looking out of dashboards, payouts, and store admin.
I skip tagged "preview" clicks I intend to keep, cloaking extensions, and cloning the dashboard folder to make a fake visitor. I start empty. I stop at login walls I was not invited through. I burn the uuid if I signed into the network by mistake.
I keep a text file of public URLs without query IDs. That list is the research queue. If a marketer drops a tagged link in chat, I strip the ID before I open it here, or I do not open it. Cold stays cold only if the URL is actually public.
If a landing page 404s, I note it and I move on. I do not retry through my tagged link to "see the live funnel." A 404 is not permission to self-click.
